My family and I stayed at The Mountain View Lodge when we was moving to Corbin and needed a place to live until our house that we was buying become finalized. The people there was super friendly and the staff was great. Our children loved the indoor heated pool and we loved that there was a 9ft for my husband and I. You can't find a motel with that anymore. The rooms was very nice and if we needed anything they met our needs. They also have a wonderful restaurant we walked in and was very surprised of how nice it was. The decorations was spectacular. There was vines coming out of the walls, trees and safari animals on the walls, I can't say enough about this place. We had our oldest son stay with the younger ones in the room when they fell asleep. We snuck out and went to the bar, We had the best time. There was dancing, karaoke and lots of friendly people. It was a vacation we didn't think we was going to get. We thought that having to stay in a motel for a week or so until the house was finalized would be very stressful but it was just the opposite. The kids and my husband and I absolutely loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone. With or without kids. Also It is right off the interstate so if you are just passing through this is the place to stay. They are just across the interstate of the expo center so if you are coming down for a concert or something that are doing there.. check out this place you won't regret it. The food at The lion's Den is spectacular! Try the Lobster tail... Delicious! I wanted to thank the family that owns the Lion's den for a wonderful stay and thank you so much for making our family feel so important and very welcome... we may even be back for a small break even tho' we live in the same town.. I know if any of my family comes to visit I will most definitely recommend Mountain View Lodge!
